Matsuda Ryuhei is the prodigal mohawked son who returns home in the delightful comedy-drama Mohican Comes Home from writer-director Okita Shuichi (A Story of Yonosuke). Co-starring Emoto Akira (A Living Promise), Maeda Atsuko (Initiation Love), Motai Masako (Toilet) and Chiba Yudai (The Magnificent Nine), the offbeat drama applies gag humor, down-to-earth warmth and rock spirit to a family's fighting and bonding in the face of sickness and loss.

After seven years away, failed rocker Eikichi (Matsuda Ryuhei) returns to his quiet island hometown in Hiroshima to introduce his pregnant girlfriend Yuka (Maeda Atsuko) to his family. He doesn't plan to stay long. Eikichi's father Osamu (Emoto Akira) is both livid at his deadbeat son and thrilled about becoming a grandfather. He decides to throw a party to celebrate, but collapses in the middle of it and rushed to the hospital where it's revealed that he has late-stage cancer. Eikichi and the rest of the family try their best to keep Osamu happy during this critical time, often to hilarious effect.
