In his first feature documentary, Cheuk Cheung follows Tam Wing Lun and Wong Hau Wai as they navigate through the world of Cantonese opera. In commercialism-driven Hong Kong, a city that truly never sleeps, art is an afterthought at most. The traditional art of Cantonese opera, in particular, is a piece of culture that's rapidly withering. Yet, two young men dare to wade into this world. Tam and Wong have not only plunged into this world headfirst, but they've also done so as dan, men who play female roles. The two have nothing to lean on besides their passion for the art and each other as they pursue their dreams in the face of familial opposition and societal indifference.
