Arashi's Sakurai Sho and Hirose Suzu formed a detective agency tag team in the 2021 NTV drama Nemesis. The duo take their crime-solving to the silver screen in the 2023 feature film Nemesis the Movie: Mystery of Golden Spiral, which is set two years after the events of series' finale. Again directed by Irie Yu (Confession of Murder), Nemesis the Movie unleashes an all-new mystery at a grander and trickier scale. Other familiar faces from the TV series return for the film including Eguchi Yosuke, Hashimoto Kanna, Katsuji Ryo, Nakamura Aoi, Tomita Miu, Oshima Yuko, Ueda Tatsuya, Okudaira Daken, Ryo Kato, Yoko Maki an Minamino Yoko.

Self-proclaimed genius detective Kazama (Sakurai Sho) and his truly genius assistant Mikami Anna (Hirose Suzu) take on different cases through their detective agency Nemesis. However, after an accident occurs in the agency, business suddenly comes to a halt. Kazuma, Anna and agency boss Kurita (Eguchi Yosuke) have no choice but to move to a smaller office. Anna begins to have nightmares of her friends dying tragically, while Kazama begins to act suspiciously. One day, the mysterious man (Sato Koichi) in Anna's nightmares appears before her in real life with a request – and the threat of her nightmares coming true. Worried that Kazama will betray her, Anna seeks help from her formal rival Tomomi (Hashimoto Kanna). Will Anna be able to break the chain of nightmares, and who is the real traitor in their midst?
