The delightfully twisted Iguchi Noboru (Dead Sushi) is back with a riff on tokusatsu (special effects) movies, Nuigulumar Z! Based on the novel by Ohtsuki Kenji, which itself was based on a song by Ohtsuki's band Tokusatsu, the movie stars Nakagawa Shoko, J-pop's queen of all things otaku, as Ayukawa Yumeko (a.k.a. Dameko), a lolita who yearns to be a hero. Her wish is granted when she gets the power to merge with her hot pink-colored talking teddy bear (voiced by Abe Sadao) to become leather-clad superhero Nuigulumar Z (Iguchi regular Takeda Rina, who also plays villain Kill Billy). When Japan gets overrun by zombies, it's up to Dameko and Nuigulumar Z to save the day!

綿状生命体の最強戦士ドゥーマアは、鮎川冬子が作っていた娘の誕生日プレゼント用のテディベアの体内に辿り着き、冬子の娘の響子と出合う。響子から「自分を必要とするエネルギー」を感じ、再び生きる目的を見つけたドゥーマアは、ピンクのテディベア「ブースケ」として、響子を守るために生きることを決意する。そんな彼らの元に突如現れた、冬子の妹、夢子。ロリータファッションに身を包んだ夢子は、冬子の家で居候を始めるが、何をやってもドジばかり。ダメダメなダメ子として、響子にも嫌われてしまう。落ち込む夢子を見るに見かねたブースケは夢子を叱咤激励。自分と共に響子を「姫」として守れ、と命じるのだった。一方、もう一人の戦士「デパルザ」は、人間世界を呪う男・タケシと合体し、人間をゾンビ化して操り、人類を滅亡させるという邪悪な計画を推し進めていた。響子の誕生日、レストランに無数のゾンビ達が出現、冬子の命を奪い、響子を襲う！響子を助けるべく奮闘する夢子だったが、彼女の前に悪の首領チャーリーとその一味、片腕ロリータと超能力少年キルビリーが立ちふさがる。命を懸けて響子を守ろうとする夢子は、片腕ロリータの放った銃弾に倒れる。その時、奇跡が起こった。戦士ドゥーマアの宿るヌイグルミのブースケと夢子は合体し、ヌイグルマーに変身したのだ！激しい戦いののち、チャーリーたちはス句集を誓って去って行くが…
