From the makers of Nirvana in Fire comes Ode to Joy, a contemporary Shanghai-set drama about the lives and friendship of five women who live in the same apartment building. Liu Tao (Nirvana in Fire) leads the sisterhood as the smart and independent Andy who returned from overseas, alongside Wang Ziwen (Nan Ren Bang) as wildchild rich girl Xiao Xiao and Jiang Xin (The Journey of Flower), Yang Zi (Battle of Changsha) and Qiao Xin as roommates Sheng Mei, Ying Ying and Ju Er, who moved to the big city for work. These five women of different personalities and backgrounds each carry work, family and romantic challenges of their own, but their lives intersect on the 22nd floor of the Ode to Joy apartment. From strangers to neighbors to the best of friends, they gradually open their hearts and support each other through all kinds of problems and worries. Nirvana in Fire's Wang Kai and Jin Dong, Zu Feng (All Quiet in Peking), Zhang Lu (All Quiet in Peking) and Yang Shuo (Super Partner) co-star in the series.
