A former boxer finds a new lease on life coaching a young boxer in Zeze Takahisa's One Last Bloom. Based on the novel Haru ni Chiru by Sawaki Kotaro, the boxing drama stars Sato Koichi (Familia), Yokohoma Ryusei (Usogui) and Hashimoto Kanna (Once Upon a Crime).

After retiring from boxing, Hirooka Jinichi (Sato Koichi) moved to the U.S. and started a successful business, but his heart feels incomplete. He suddenly returns to his hometown for the first time in 40 years. Hirooka visits his old gym and meets Kuroki Shogo (Yokohama Ryusei), who is on the verge of quitting boxing due to his anger over an unfair loss. Shogo begs Hirooka to coach him, and then Hirooka's niece Kanako (Hashimoto Kanna) also joins them, marking the start of their strange new life together. Hirooka's passion to make Shogo a champion not only reinvigorates them both, but also motivates people around them who once gave up on their dreams.
