Rising star Okada Masaki (I Give My First Love to You) teams up again with his Tennen Kokekko co-star Kaho for the 2009 Fuji TV youth drama Otomen. Okada plays hotshot high school kendo champion Asuka who actually loves sewing, baking, and other girly hobbies. He tries his hardest to keep his less-than-masculine side a secret, but the charade gets difficult when he falls for transfer student Nanami, a cute schoolgirl who is actually tough as a guy! Based on the Kanno Aya manga, the gender-debunking high school romantic comedy co-stars Seto Koji (Atashinchi no Danshi), Kimura Ryo (Akai Ito), Sano Kazuma (Galileo - Episode Zero), and Kiritani Mirei (Chance!).
