Overheard (2009)
Cops Johnny (Lau Ching Wan), Gene (Louis Koo), and Max (Daniel Wu) are part of a special task force investigating a business firm that engages in financial crimes. While monitoring slimy executive Low (Waise Lee), Gene overhears an illegal stock tip. Street-smart Gene is married with kids, one of whom is battling cancer, and he himself has just been diagnosed with a terminal illness; he desperately wants to leave money behind for his family. Clean-cut Max is soon marrying into an overbearing rich family, and wants to prove himself financially. The two decide to make a gamble, and throw their life savings into the stock. Johnny who's harboring some secrets of his own - he's seeing the estranged wife (Zhang Jingchu) of his superior (Alex Fong) - covers for them. For these three cops who have always played it straight, all it takes is one wrong step to send them into a vicious crime spiral of no return.

Overheard 2 (2011)
Manson (Lau Ching Wan) is a successful stockbroker with powerful, secretive employers. After an automobile accident, Manson discovers that someone has wiretapped into his entire life. An investigation by righteous police officer Jack (Louis Koo) reveals that the man behind this complex surveillance system is Joe (Daniel Wu), an ex-soldier with a dark past. At the same time, Jack also discovers the existence of the Landlords' Club, a group of experienced stock fixers with enormous power over the stock market. What does Joe want with the Landlords' Club, and how is he connected to it?

Overheard 3 (2014)
In the 1970s, the Hong Kong government enacted a policy that granted each male heir of New Territories villagers the privilege to build a house without paying any dues to the government. Since then, those grants have become a commodity that village leaders can profit from. Luk (Kenneth Tsang) is one of those leaders. However, the Luk family's NT Land Group shocks the village when it decides to go public thanks to an ambitious residential high-rise project made possible with the grants it bought up and the help of a businessman from Mainland China (Huang Lei). Bitter over not receiving a share of the new company, the Luk Brothers (Lau Ching Wan, Gordon Lam, Alex Fong, Lam Ka Wah) set a plan in motion to grab the company shares they should've gotten. Meanwhile, Jau (Louis Koo), one of the Luk Brothers, has been released from prison after serving five years for committing a murder that paved the way for the high-rise project. On the surface, he appears to be rejoining the Luk Brothers, but he's secretly working with technology expert Joe (Daniel Wu) to spy on the four men for someone from his past.

Overheard
A major stock exchange in the world, Hong Kogn Attracts not only money but, also many who try to manipulate the maket. The interception team at the Criminal Intelligence Bureau is sent in to investigate a listed company. Led by Inspector johnny Leung (Sean Lau), the team has veteran cop Gene Yeung (Louis Koo) and the young rookie Max Lam (Daniel Wu). They infiltrate Feng Hua International to install interception devices and start to monitor the company’s phone traffic. Overhearing about the management’s plan to boost the share price. Gene and Max, who are desperately in need chance of fortune. One critical decision leads the three into a turbine of crimes with no going back…

Overheard 2
LAW Man-seng (Sean Lau) a reputable security dealer was involve in a car accident. Police officer HO Chi-Keung (Louis Koo) is assigned to the case when military surveillance devices were found in Law’s wrecked sports car. During the investigation, Ho finds that Law has some offshore funds of unknown sources and that an unknown person Joe (Daniel Wu) is wiretapping not only Law, but other members of ‘Landlord Club’, a legendary club with members from top business tycoons and entrepreneurs in town.

Overheard 3
LAW worked as a chauffeur for the rural tycoon LUK; was jailed for killing a major land owner in a car accident. It was rumored that LUK was behind such land owner’s death, which gave LUK a competitive edge in the native apartment development deal. Every native, male resident in the New Territories was granted the right to build a house, until recently the government decided to gather all of the remaining land rights from these residents and plan to build taller apartment buildings. LUK wished to swallow the enormous project and this started the fights between LUK, the land owner and other real estate developers.

LAW gets out of prison 5 years later, LUK’s corporation has grown more powerful, while LUK’s right-hand man Keung, sworn brother of LAW, has his own agenda to pursue. But things take a surprising turn. With the help of LAW’s prison mate and computer whiz Joe, he modifies their mobile phones for wiretapping. Joe gets acquainted with the materialistic aingle mom Eva, who turns out to have a dark history with both LAW and KEUNG. Through the eavesdropping, LAW realizes Keung’s ultimate plan, which may change Hong Kong’s land development forever.
