Following Howling Village and Suicide Forest Village, J-horror meister Shimizu Takashi uncovers the dark secrets of another village in Ushikubi Village, the third film of his "Horror Village" series. Model Koki, one of the most talked-about young stars of the Japanese entertainment industry, takes on dual roles in her screen debut alongside other young talents Hagiwara Riku (My Beautiful Man), Takahashi Fumiya (Kamen Rider Zero-One), Imou Haruka (Hokusai), Riko (The Blue Skies at Your Feet) and Otani Rinka (Howling Village). Ushikubi Village draws on the urban legend of Tsubono Kosen, a mineral spring in Toyama known as a paranormal spot.

Kanon (Koki) is shocked to see a high school girl who looks exactly like her in a paranormal video. The footage shows the girl forcibly covered with an ox head mask and trapped in ruins. Deeply unsettled by the footage, Kanon heads to Tsubono Kosen where the video was shot. There, she comes upon a terrifying place called Ushikubi Village.
