他曾對著還不懂事的兒童時代的小鐵說：
你以後也要成為PEACE MAKER 喔！……
後來鐵爸與鐵媽被攘夷派格殺，
此事在小鐵心中烙下陰影，並立志要「變強」以報雙親之仇！
當他終於如願以償加入人人畏懼的「新撰組」，
好笑又緊湊的故事就開始了……。
要選擇「人性」還是「武士道」？要做「人之子」還是「鬼之子」？

第八話「戀」
　　因為不被允許配刀，鐵之助顯得愈來愈焦躁不耐。已經看不下去的近藤局長遂指示他去逛逛神社的祭典、透透氣。走在參拜道上的鐵之助，在路邊攤販與沙夜和她的朋友小花不期而遇…

第九話「龍」
　　長州藩．吉田稔?的小姓北村鈴也有段悲慘的過去：他的哥哥命喪在新撰組刀下。而另一方面，與哥哥一同被指派到兵庫辦事的鐵之助，在路上無意間發現了鈴。衝動的小鐵在尚未了解其來歷的情況下就冒然追了上去…
