September 22, 2012 One of the BEST 2012 Chinese movie by far!!!First good thing to start off, the good old main casts from the first Painted Skin has featured again in this Painted Skin 2, which is absolutely great!!!!
The return of Painted Skin 2 was a surprise for me and I really didn't think they'll do another one after the first movie ended off good too. Yeah, it may be sad that some of the old cast didn't appear in this one, but its really alright. I like the new casts too. They also used the same old song from the first one too, which is also fine too.
This movie goes really well with Aloys Chen, Vicki Zhao, & Zhou Xun again. It makes you get that same old good feeling from the first Painted Skin. Well Painted Skin 2 goes pretty much the same thing as Painted Skin 1, but there are many "twist" scenes of which you'll get from this film. It makes you get this "Wow! This is an awesome movie!" after you finished watching this movie. :)
I truly recommend this movie with my whole heart! You'll not regret buying this film nor watching it. If you haven't seen the first Painted Skin, don't worry because the "Painted Skin 2: The Resurrection" has its own complete new storyline aside from the first film. Painted Skin 2 appeared as it continued from Xiaowei (Zhou Xun) point of view rather than Vicki Zhao or Aloys Chen. August 12, 2012 Wrong InformationOn both the DVD & Blu-ray release, there is ENGLISH, Japanese, Korean, & Chinese (simplified) subtitles. Yesasia did provide the information on this product correctly or further enough.

May 27, 2012 REALLY GOOD! AND REALLY SAD!One of the best film this year! It is really sad. It's a story you won't forget at all!
The story is set in during the Nanjing Massacre. A group of young chinese convent girls runs away from the Japanese soldiers and were luckily safe back inside their church. A random American mortician guy comes by to the church to bury their dead Father. Another group of prostitutes comes inside the church too. All of them are stuck in the church and wants to leave Nanjing as possible, but with Japanese soldiers roaming around the city, it was impossible for them. Some girls were shot down, some girls were about to be used by the horrible Japanese soldiers, two woman did got used, and many of them had to sacrifice themselves during the movie and in the end. The main people who were able to help the young convent girls were the American guy (better prefer as westerners in the film) & the prostitutes. Luckily, the American guy and the young convent girls were saved, except for the others because they had to sacrifice themselves. A sad tragic, yet happy ending too.
The movie will make you emotional, sad, and cry for all of the characters in the movie. It makes you feel like you're in that moment with all of the people in that city. It must of been really scary. What a sad tragic the Chinese people in Nanjing had to go through. The soundtrack for this movie was also really good too and bends in with the movie a lot.

August 16, 2011 REALLY NICE!!!I got this cd from koreatown and it was really nice!
Package: The case is kinda long so when you open it up, you have 2 photo booklet. One photo book is bigger than the other one. On the left side, you have the big photo booklet... very large and wide for your to see Sistar. And on the right side, it has the cd and the other smaller booklet. The package was really nice!
Songs: I actually love all their songs. I've listened to all of them and I know you all will definitely find at lease 10 songs that you will like. Starship only added 6 new songs including the "Ma Boy (special ver.)" and the rest is already released single albums. There is nothing different for "Ma boy (special ver.)", except you will hear all the Sistar's voices unlike the original one with only Bora & Hyolyn. "So cool" is a really nice dance addictive beat song. That is my favorite new track from them. And my other favorite song would be "New World", but I love all the songs actually.

April 27, 2011 GREAT!I had seen her drama Hi My Sweetheart and so I bought this one at Chinatown. I think I should have gotten the celebration edition, but I didn't see in the CD store I went to.
The package is quite nice. It have a slipcase and then the cd is place in a DVD case. And inside you get the booklet of the song lyrics and nice beautiful pictures of her.
I'm glad I bought this, but I think I should have gotten the other latest edition. Oh Well.

January 25, 2011 Glad that I bought this mini album!At first I was kinda like... Man, this mini album is not so cool with those remixes... But I went ahead and got it somewhere at a cheaper price... and when it came to my house... and I first looked at it.... IT WAS SO BIG AND AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I say you have to get this mini album if you LOVE photos and you LOVE CO-ED SCHOOL, then YOU SHOULD GET THIS!!!! Everything will change your mind after you get this mini album at your home! Now that I've seen this, I LOVE THIS CD!!! The picture are all high quality pictures too!! I don't know how long this cd will be producing, so I suggest you all who like co-ed school get this mini album. ^_^ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

January 9, 2011 Essay Book or Music album?I was just wondering... but why is it so expensive for a 6 track music cd? So is this another of those limited edition thing or... the item is mainly a book and it just included 6 tracks cd as bonus or what? Because I don't understand this release at all... January 9, 2011 Beautiful Characters with a boring storylineI only watched this scary movie because I LOVE RAINIE YANG!!! And they used her nickname in the movie too. What I mean by "beautiful characters" is that they used good people to play the roles, but I say that the storyline is quite confusing because there are many ways this movie could have ended up. This also led me to a lot of the questions down below and they could have done this movie better.
1st thing - the hotel area
Why go to a hotel that only have chinese characters on it and not go back to your beautiful hotel you've stayed in the first place...
2nd thing - the ghost followed the whole group only
This is dumb because why scare the group & RAINIE when the ghost can scare other people who are staying in the same hotel... it makes no sense. When did the ghost followed them? When the children saw them?
3rd thing - the ghost only wants to kill rainie and her friend...
There were some kids that were being "attacked" by the ghost, but she only wants to get Rainie and her friend mainly.... it makes no sense also.
4th thing - Having a child that is half dog and half human
So, how is it possible for the ghost lady to have a child that is half human and half dog when she only mated with her husband who takes care of lots dogs... makes no sense. Did the husband got bitten by their dogs and got infected or something? Or did both the couple got curse and had that half human and dog child?
5th thing - How does Rainie knows the chef (the ghost's husband) of the hotel?
There was one part where she asked why and where did he took her friends... that part didn't make sense because they made it seem like that chef guy knows who she is & her friends and what she is talking about.... she didn't even know the chef guy and then she just talk crap to him out of nowhere.
For this movie, since this is Hong Kong's first film shot in 3D, I think they only wanted to show the 3D effects more than showing how a true scary movie is. This movie was more lame than I thought as it gets to the ending... did the car crash or what... why just show the friend pointing hid finger to the front of the car.... Overall, I say if you want to experience a scary movie in 3D and want to watch this movie because of Rainie Yang or other characters, then get this movie, but if not... just don't get this movie just because it is in 3D or you will waste your money on a lame boring movie.Did you find this review helpful? December 22, 2010 Title sounds cool, but not the movie...When I heard of the title, I thought it was going to be a cool adventure movie, but this turns out to be a "wanna be" funny movie. They tried their best to make this movie funny, & even if Charlene Choi was in the movie... it did not help. It is not what you are going to think it may be. Don't get this movie. November 4, 2010 Happy for COED, but not happy for this album...I recently just LIKE COED, and I was waiting if they were going to 5 new songs when they said they were going to release a mini album, but now I'm totally disappointed in this release because they actually just re-releasing the same songs plus with 5 remixes in a new CD format now. October 17, 2010 Oustanding Comeback for 2NE1!With outstanding packaging, the photobook is like a postcards book where you can tear them off. All lyrics are written by 2NE1 themselves and includes their beautiful voices in their first album: To Anyone.
My feel of this album is most of dance beats. If you like dance songs and love 2NE1, then is album is what you really need! The album includes 7 new songs plus one with two different versions and also comes with their old songs released from last year and earlier this year.
Here are my reviews of each of their newer songs.
1. Can't Nobody (Korean Version) - A fast start beat for the whole album to be dancing to.
2. Go Away - An updated version of "I Don't Care" like of what 2NE1 says and song you're be dancing to.
3. Clap your hands - A song that will make you clap for time to time.
4. I'm Busy - Another song similar to "Can't Nobody" with high dance beat, then low, then high again.
5. It Hurts (SLOW) - The breaking and the slow part of the whole album with their beautiful vocal voice are sung is this track. My recommended track of all.
6. Love is Ouch - Another song similar to "It hurts (SLOW)".
10. Try to follow me - This track was released earlier this year and it was a song representing what the new whole album tracks are like.
12. Can't Nobody (English Version) - Good thing they added an english version for international fans like me, so that I can sing in english also. ^_^
Overall of the album? Well I feel that they could have done a little better with the songs, but the whole album is Great! I will be looking forward for more of 2NE1's new albums later in the near future.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

September 30, 2010 What I really wanted!!! My favorite drama of 2010!Apparently, people didn't know that Taiwan hasn't gone to HD yet, so that is why all their videos is full-screen like. For me, I don't care about the letterbox, but as long it provides a good quality video to watch! ^_^

Korean dramas these days is in HD is because they started really early shooting in HD since 2007, but I know that China & Taiwan haven't shoot their dramas in HD yet, so we'll see if they will soon... I bet the original Taiwan version must also be letterbox too.
I say that I really do hate the advertisements they have in this DVD and you can't ever skip it but to fast forward it only and there is also with the name changing. I know it's easier to recognized if its in english, but I prefer original chinese written names (I mean the pinyin names ex: Xue Hai etc.) like what yesasia puts.
Another thing about this DVD is that the subtitle is kinda small for me to read... and I hate that. I don't want to look up close every time to read and plus, no one else would want to read small subtitles too.

September 16, 2010 Great Beautiful SceneryThis is actually one of those new korean drama genre and it is totally different than any other dramas that I've have ever seen. This drama was a big surprise for me and watching it made me really like it. It is not only the characters that is great, but also the nice visual views (nice background views) of the whole drama. What is also a new thing about this drama is that they had a foreigner as the one of the main character in this drama... which is actually something new to korean dramas.
If you ever got the money, choose this drama! This one is really drama great and will make you laugh, cry... etc. I really enjoy this drama is all of ways... I'm really glad that I also watch this drama. Plus, the music makes the drama extra better! ^_^
