 A timeless, superb collection Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Been waiting for Paula's cds from Contec for a while. Got all 4 studio albums but this is the best in terms of the songs and recording. This collection of classics stands the test of time even after 20 years later. Fast becoming my top ten chinese cd. Get this while you can...won't be dissappointed. Bernie

 What a pleasant delight to hear Paula in her prime Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
With the news that Paula is giving her concerts this summer, the record company has finally re-released the few CD albums she made in the 80s. The songs are well delivered and Paula was in almost her top forms with many of the slow numbers. Paula gave one of her best readings in the main title song. The string and Chinese flute (Harmonic in some others) background is nicely placed. I like it very much and I hope the record company can consider releasing this album in an even more Hi-fi format, e.g. XRCD. The only reservation is the pricing of the CD. Why don't they price it in the middle range? Very few CDs are priced at the top-range these days and this one is only a re-issue of old recording from the 80s.

 The Best! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This CD is as good as the "Jin Pan Zi" released by Tsai Chin. The sound stage is very good and the musical mood is just right. It's not boring as Paula's voice is power packed and dwells well between the slow numbers to the mid-tempo songs. Get this fast!

It's so difficult to find this album. Probably you cannot find this in the record stores anymore! Preciously crafted gems, excellent singing and superb arrangement. This is Paula's best recording to date! Repeated listening of this album yields different meanings and feelings each time.

Don't miss this!! Get it before it last Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
If you like oldies, you have to get this! It captured 12 of the most famous 40's classics. Nowadays, you can rarely find a treasure like this. With Paula's vocal skill, these 12 classics become even more appealing. It is very difficult to find this album, since ths record company went bankrupt in the mid 80's. Buy it now, or you'll miss it.
