Joseon scholar Kim Boong Do (Ji Hyun Woo) has put his life on the line to facilitate the reinstatement of Queen In Hyun, who was deposed because of consort Jang Hee Bin's scheming. Ambushed by assassins, Boong Do is moments away from death - when he's suddenly transported into the future by the magical powers of a talisman. In present-day Korea, a confused Boong Do encounters Hee Jin (Yoo In Na), an up-and-coming actress who is playing Queen In Hyun in a TV drama. Adjusting quickly to his odd situation, Boong Do uses his time-travel abilities and newly acquired historical knowledge to alter the events of the past. With every trip through time, he falls deeper in love with Hee Jin and deeper into danger. Which world does Boong Do belong to, and can their love hold up to the unpredictable turns of time?
