Timeless tunes from Teresa Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Given the graffiti-like presentation of Teresa's name on the album and the cover photos of her wearing trendy duds, I didn't know quite what to expect when I first played this album. Was this going to be Deng Li Jun as rock goddess? A Chinese version of Pat Benatar?

The answer: No. "Teresa" is business as usual for Miss Deng and, for fans of her great singing, that is cause for celebration!

"Teresa" serves up twelve more lushly orchestrated pop gems featuring Deng Li Jun's flawless singing. This album was a particular treat for me because I was entirely unfamiliar with most of the songs on this CD; only a few of these numbers tend to show up on her greatest hits packages.

This album is very highly recommended for all fans of this timeless artist.

still refreshing Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
disagree a little with chwee as this album reflects lots of her less known songs and these are the songs we are enlightened of the way she sings with so much feelings and love. have enough of her collected greatest hits and this kind of album offers another kind of aprreciation on the music she has created.

A Rare Landmark Album Reissue on CD! Must Have For Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is probably one of Teresa's breakthrough album with mixed responses from her fans. It is a collection of a few of the mandarin versions of her Japanese albums in the period of 82 - 85, and spawned no less than 3 hits: Chang Huan, the title track, Ai Ren, and a karaoke favourite Bu Zao Heng Ji. Teresa also updated versions of her classic 70s smash Japanese hits in the early 80s in her Japanese albums, and the corresponding updated mandarin versions of these hits are also included here: Dong Zhi Lian Qing and Qing Ren De Guan Huai. The new look styled and photographed in London on the album cover, which departed from Teresa's dainty dame image caused some stir among fans, and rumoured that her mom was one of the first who was upset about it. Nonetheless, this is the second last studio album Teresa recorded, prior to Wo Zhi Zai Hu Ni, and is a gem of classics to treasure and appreciate. One thing fans can count on Teresa's recordings is the assurance of quality of the songs, in terms of the production, and most importantly, the enduring sweet vocals of Teresa.
