Executive produced by Martin Scorsese and directed by Andrew Lau (Infernal Affairs) and Andrew Loo, Revenge Of The Green Dragons tells the true story of Chinese immigrants who fall into gang life in 1980s New York.
After arriving in Flushing, Queens as a boy in the 1980s, Sonny (Justin Chon, Twilight) befriends Steven (Kevin Wu, YouTube's KevJumba), who has similarly come to America for a better life. Better lives, however, weren't what awaited them, as the boys quickly find themselves stuck in the slums. Following a fateful encounter with the soft-spoken Paul Wong (Harry Shum Jr., Glee), the two boys are inducted into his gang, the Green Dragons. As the boys work up the ranks of the gang, a dangerous turf war brews between the Green Dragons and rival gang the White Tigers, which catches the attention of FBI agent Michael Bloom (Ray Liotta, Killing Them Softly). With the body count rising by the day, Sonny increasingly finds himself trapped in a cycle of violence he can't escape.
