라이즈(RIIZE, 에스엠엔터테인먼트 소속)의 첫 미니앨범 ‘RIIZING’이 6월 17일 발매된다.

이번 앨범에는 타이틀 곡 ‘Boom Boom Bass’를 포함해 이미 음원 공개되어 많은 사랑을 받고 있는 퍼포먼스 싱글 ‘Siren’과 프롤로그 싱글 ‘Impossible’, ‘9 Days’, ‘Honestly’, ‘One Kiss’, ‘Talk Saxy’, ‘Love 119’ 등 총 8곡이 수록되어 있다.

특히 앨범명 ‘RIIZING’은 라이즈가 지금까지 이뤄온 것을 넘어 다음 목표를 향해 ‘HUSTLE’하게 도전하겠다는 포부를 라이즈만의 표현법으로 나타낸 것인 만큼, 이들이 앞으로 펼칠 성장 모먼트를 더욱 기대하게 만든다.

RIIZING HIGH
Since debuting in September last year, RIIZE has been rising high with their viral hit Get a Guitar and several digital single releases. This time, they get a bass for their first mini-album RIIZING!

"Don't stop the music, hands up on my bass!" Get in the groove and join RIIZE's summer party with Boom Boom Bass (Track 1). The boys continue to show their passion and excitement for music in the pop dance title song that easily hypes up audiences with its blend of funky disco beats and groovy bass lines.

Pre-release single Impossible (Track 3), which RIIZE promoted on music shows in April, expresses the message that "impossible is nothing as long as we share the same dream and move forward together." The group also finally releases the full version of Siren (Track 2), the very first performance video song they dropped after their debut announcement. The 90s-style hip-hop plug boosts adrenaline with its powerful boom bap beats and strong dancey rhythm.

RIIZE surprisingly presents three catchy and high-quality side tracks that give off vibes of pop boy bands from previous eras. The boys capture their busy lives chasing their dreams in the energetic 9 Days (Track 4), which comes with a sing-along chorus – "I've been out here 9 whole days, every day I repeat myself on stage. I've been going 9 whole days, repeat every day, my dream is too far." Featuring a dreamy and bluesy R&B melody, Honestly (Track 5) bids farewell to a relationship that no longer works. The boys show their love for fans BRIIZE in the upbeat, lighthearted mid-tempo fan song One Kiss (Track 6) that freshens up the mood.

RIIZING closes with two digital singles released earlier the year. Talk Saxy (Track 7) stuns with its saxophone riffs in the intro. The song showcases the boys' more charismatic and fierce sides, in contrast to their down-to-earth and bubbly styles in Memories and Get a Guitar. Wrapping up the album, RIIZE evokes Y2K sentiments with the addictive hit Love 119 (Track 8) that samples from izi's popular song "Emergency Room" from 2005!
