Kara Vol. 4 - Full BloomJune 6, 2017 A very good album
This is one of my favourite Kara albums. All the songs are bubbly and very Kara-like. My favourite song is Runaway, wich is actually the very first song. Damaged Lady was the Title Track and is therefore also very good.
The weakest song in my opinion is Smoothie, but still, I think it's a really sweet song.
My only complaint is that there are only seven songs (I don't count instrumentals as songs), so technically, this is not a Full Length Album but a Mini Album.
The packaging is great. All the pictures are beautiful, so the album is really great to look at. The photobook could have contained a few more pages, but that's just a minor complaint.
Overall, Full Bloom is an album that I can only recommend. Kara have been disbanded for over a year now, but it's not too late to listen to their albums.
BLADY EP Album - RenovationOctober 25, 2015 It's really nice
Girlgroup Blady is one of those floating around the K-Pop scene and are actually pretty much unrecognised. That's a shame, because their newest album is really good.
First of all, when I saw this thing for the first time, I couldn't believe my eyes. The packaging is amazing! I would have never thought that it would be so big. But it is! Not only is it big, the quality is also outstanding. Not only of the packaging itself, but also of the pictures. There are three themes in this photobook, and every one of them is really nice. What I exspecially liked is the fact that there are also pictures that match the video for "Come to me".
However, there is one downside. On almost every page of the photobook, there is some English written on the page. I wouldn't mind that, but that English is totally incorrect in terms of grammar. That's a bit annoying.
There are four songs on this album (not counting the two instrumental tracks). I will go through each song one by one.
1.) Love you so ... I : It's a sweet little ballad. Generally speaking, I can't say that I'm the biggest fan of ballads and I find it a bit weird to start the album of with one. Anyway, it has kind of grown on me. I've listened to better ballads, but also to worse, so "Love you so ... I" is ok.
2.) Come to me: This song is truly amazing. It is super catchy and really funny. Go and watch the video if you haven't already!
3.) Oochie Walla Walla: Despite it's weird name, this song is my absolute favourite of this album. It's also one of my favourite songs of 2015 overall! In my opinion, this should have gotten a music video, but the fact that Blady has performed this song several times satisfies me a bit. It's not often that you hear good songs like this one.
4.) Fantasy: I had to listen to it for a few times to really know what to think of it, but now it has grown on me, just like "Love you so ... I". It's definitely a good way to end the album. Overall, this song is very experimental. This can result in a positive or a negative outcome - when it comes to "Fantasy", it's positive.
I recommend this album to every fan of Blady and to every fan of great and beautiful packagings! Both of this descriptions fit me.
