Just when you thought social media couldn't get any worse... Japan's most famous ghost goes viral in Sadako DX, the latest addition to the Ring franchise! Directed by Kimura Hisashi (99.9 Criminal Lawyer), the supernatural nail-biter reboots the iconic J-horror story with a meta touch as Sadako's curse spreads through social media. Sadako DX is led by the young cast of Koshiba Fuka (Yokai Housemate), THE RAMPAGE member Kawamura Kazuma (HiGH & LOW The Worst), Kuroba Mario (Go Away, Ultramarine) and Yagi Yuki (Little Nights, Little Love).

All around Japan, people suddenly die 24 hours after watching a "cursed video." Genius graduate student Ichijo Ayaka (Koshiba Fuka) is challenged to explain these mysterious incidents on a TV program. Popular TV psychic Kenshin (Hiroyuki Ikeuchi) warns that if the curse spreads on social media, the human race will be destroyed. Ayaka, who believes everything can be explained scientifically, asserts that curses aren't possible. Ayaka is certain about this until she receives a desperate call for help from her sister Futaba (Yagi Yuki), who watched the cursed video out of curiosity. Since then, Futaba has been followed by someone in white clothing. Ayaka teams up with self-proclaimed fortune teller Maeda Oji (Kawamura Kazuma) and the mysterious Kandenroid (Kuroba Mario) to investigate the curse as the 24-hour time limit approaches.

＜ストーリー＞SNSで拡散する貞子の呪い
“呪いのビデオ”を⾒た⼈が24時間後に突然死するという事件が全国各地で発⽣。IQ200の天才⼤学院⽣・⼀条⽂華（⼩芝⾵花）は、テレビ番組で共演した⼈気霊媒師のKenshin（池内博之から事件の解明を挑まれる。呪いがSNSで拡散すれば人類滅亡と主張するKenshinに対し、「呪いなんてあり得ない」と断⾔する⽂華だったが、興味本位でビデオを⾒てしまった妹の双葉から⼀本の電話がかかってくる。「お姉ちゃん助けて。あれからずっと⽩い服の⼈につけられてて……」⽂華は「すべては科学的に説明できる」と、⾃称占い師の前⽥王司（川村壱⾺）、謎の協⼒者・感電ロイド（⿊⽻⿇璃央）とともに、＜呪いの⽅程式＞を解明すべく奔⾛する。しかし24時間のタイムリミットが迫る中、仮説は次々と打ち砕かれ――。
