Directed by Shimizu Yasuhiko (Cube), Scroll is a coming-of-age youth drama based on the same-titled novel by Hashizume Shunki. Kitamura Takumi (Tokyo Revengers), Nakagawa Taishi (ReLife), Matsuoka Mayu (Hell Dogs - In the House of Bamboo) and Furukawa Kotone (Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy) portray four young people struggling with the gap between their ideals and reality as they desperately face the world and themselves. Kitamura Takumi and Nakagawa Taishi play friends who learn one day that a friend from their school days has died by suicide. In the wake of their friend's death, the two begin to reconsider what it means to live and to love.
