　　民國初年的香島，沉香、阿珍、如煙、有君、桂平、鄭紅六個花季少女被刺上了象征海神娘娘的刺青，使他們就從小就背負了沉重的詛咒。沉香帶領眾姐妹逃亡。十年後，在遙遠的雙魚堡，當年的小女孩長成了美貌少女，可背後的刺青一直是她們心中無法言說的痛。沉香和雙魚堡族長的長子黎知銘真誠相愛，他們不信天命頑強抗爭，然而他們的愛情最終成了封建社會的犧牲品。阿珍背叛眾姐妹獨自逃亡，偶遇沉香的姑父龍守望，一念之差冒充沉香成為龍家的養女，當她再次和沉香相遇時，為了不讓自己的身份被揭穿，她不擇手段地迫害沉香。有君嫁給阿俊，但阿俊卻深愛著沉香。如煙和黎知毅由對抗到真心相愛，最終付出了生命的代價。鄭紅的出現給姐妹們帶來了新的希望，她最終帶領大家從愚昧走向覺醒，從被壓迫走向了反抗，最終走上了革命的道路。

Very Entertaining!! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This series would have gotten a 10, if the last parts are equally well done as most parts of the series.
Very good playwrighting overall. Surprisingly good acting from the cast. Good directing.

A good series to watch.
