Different forces try to probe into the secrets of eternal life in Architecture 101 writer-director Lee Yong Joo's third feature Seobok! Taking up his first movie leading role in five years, Park Bo Gum (Coin Locker Girl) plays the first-ever human clone Seobok who fights against the world with ex-agent Gong Yoo (Train to Busan). Jo Woo Jin (Default), Park Byung Eun (Illang: The Wolf Brigade) and Jang Young Nam (The Negotiation) also co-star in the sci-fi action film.

Formerly a special agent, Min Ki Heon (Gong Yoo) cut off connections with the outside world after going through a traumatic incident. He receives an unrejectable final offer from the National Intelligence Service – to safely transport human clone specimen Seobok (Park Bo Gum). However, they are later tangled up in a series of unexpected events and attacks that put them in danger.

Former intelligence agent Ki-hun, who lives a secluded life as a result of a traumatic memory, is entrusted by his former boss with a secret mission to transfer humanity’s first cloned human, called Seobok, to a safe location. However, the mission goes awry when the convoy is ambushed by unknown attackers. Ki-hun and Seobok manage to escape together, but struggle awaits them around every corner as Seobok has spent his entire life in a lab and is fascinated by the outside world while Ki-hun only wants to complete his mission as soon as possible. As the two repeatedly butt heads, various groups with conflicting agendas chase after Seobok, who is humanity’s greatest salvation but also its greatest threat. When the enemy finally closes in, Ki-hun and Seobok are forced to make the inevitable choice.
