Wedding Dress is a timeless song. Not only does it feel special because Taeyang contributed to the song making process, but it also is just a GREAT song. It makes you feel happy and sad at the same time. The dance choreo is great, it's a great song to learn on the piano, and for me, it's a song that wouldn't die on repeat.

Take It Slow is a great R&B song. The fact that Taeyang wrote the song and the lyrics blows my mind. The lyrics are really sensual and passionate and yet Taeyang confessed on the recent Strong Heart episode that he's still never had a girlfriend. He wrote about making love but he didn't experience it yet? [well, assuming he hasn't been that intimate with a girl that was not his girlfriend.] Well it's a great song nonetheless. You can feel his emotion and passion through the song... maybe because he put a lot of effort into the making of it.

A side thought... Taeyang's songs' most used English words: girl, lady, baby x]

Anyways, buy this album. I hope I convinced some potential buyers and potential Taeyang fans :]
And sorry, Yesasia, but purchases on Yesasia don't help Taeyang in the sales chart (Hanteo)... dvdheaven and purchasing from YGeshop will help Taeyang. Still, don't let this stop you from buying this album. Oh, and you can buy it on iTunes, too! It was #2 on the American R&B Best Album chart and was on a number of other nations' R&B iTunes charts.

Move is, I believe, produced by Teddy :P well, it sounds like it was. but it's a cool mix of a slowish pop and dance song that you'll want to ... well... move to. I don't know the Korean lyrics, but the English part that Teddy does is quite sexual so I don't like to listen to this song as much as it deserves. It's catchy in the way that a medium tempo song can be.

Breakdown is another one of Teddy's songs (I can't remember clearly x_x) but it's more upbeat and definitely gets me dancing. Personally, I think the chorus is the weakest part of the song, which kind of stinks...but that also means that the rest of the song is great! It makes me want to sing and dance along.

After You Fall Asleep (or whatever it translates to) is my favorite track. It has a great beat and the chorus is amazing. Swings's rap is totally monotonous but it fits the track so well I love it. I always try to imitate his "cackle" right before the rap but end up only freaking out any innocent bystanders and making myself laugh. Anyways, I love this song. Go G-Dragon and Choice37!

Where U At is, for me, one of the weaker songs on this album. Even so, I find myself sometimes singing the chorus! Just goes to show that even the relatively weaker songs on this album are still good songs. Personally, I find this song kind of boring and the chorus is a bit weak.

    July 22, 2010 Stellar Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
What I like about this album is that Taeyang diverged, yet stayed in his realm of music and his comfort zone. I know that sounds completely paradoxical, but he delves into pop and r&b and maintains his appeal through it all.

Solar, the intro, in itself is really wonderful. He displays his powerful vocals and not-too-shabby English skills. I like the birds chirping and kids laughing in the background... it's definitely an intro that will get you interested in listening to the rest of the album.

Teddy did a good job with Superstar. Personally, I very much like the Synthetic instruments used in this track. It's upbeat but allows Taeyang to show off his powerful vocals again. I like the ad-lib parts near the end. It's a very feel good song that gets you tapping your foot.

I will admit that I Need A Girl did not appeal to me in the beginning. It struck me as odd that he chose a slower song as the title track. But you know what? Right now it is the most played song from this album on my iTunes. I love it. Taeyang totally goes where few artists go... R&B/Pop and it works [at least for me and the thousands of others that like this song.] because it's mellow and smooth. Not to mention the performance is amazing - not only do Taeyang and his dancers dance well, but they act and play the parts to make a great performance. Anyways, I hope the user who rated this album a "0" stumbles upon this track and pays more attention. I like to listen to all parts of the song... this great synthetic beat comes in towards the end of the song and it's wonderful, but elusive to the inattentive ear. [Sorry, a bit sad that someone rated the album a "0" because it does not deserve a "0" at all.]

Just A Feeling picks up the beat. More dance-y, and Taeyang proved that in his performances. Actually, I love the choreo and the fact that he can dance and sing it at the same time. Not one of my personal favorites, but it's still a good song.

You're My is so smooth and buttery and ... it's a song you'd want someone to sing to you, or a song you'd want to sing to someone. there is, though, too much falsetto towards the latter half of the song - i think falsetto should be used sparingly, and we already know Taeyang can sing and has a great range. overall, i do like this song and would pick this to play on my iPod over the other songs on this album.

April 13, 2010 Love it. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I love "This Song." One of my absolute favorites of all time. IMO, the lyrics are touching. The singing itself, especially Changmin's chorus part, is ... raw vocals. I love his voice especially, and overall I just love the song. On top of that, the other two songs are not disappointing at all!

February 27, 2010 Worth It Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Younha's stunned me yet again with this mini album. The CD has variety, and the songs all sound wonderful.

    5. 헤어진 후에야 알 수 있는 것 with Kim Bum Soo really displays both artists' powerful vocals. In 1. Say Something, I especially love the instruments, the chorus, and her English always impresses me. 2. 오늘 헤어졌어요 Broke Up Today is a touching ballad. 3. 좋아해 Like reminds me of Kelly Clarkson for some reason, or other singers that dabble in that genre. In the first few chords I didn't think I'd like it, but after listening on I've found that the chorus is quite catchy and I like it.

Oh, and the fact that Younha's composing and writing songs gets a big thumbs up from me.

You won't regret purchasing this CD :)
