Shinshun Takizawa Kakumei (Jacket B)(Normal Edition)(Japan Version) DVD Region 2

Staged from January 1 to 27 at Tokyo's Imperial Garden Theater, Takizawa Hideaki's 2009 New Year musical Shinshun Takizawa Kakumei is an original play fusing past and future folklore with elaborate song and dance performances. The first act draws from Japanese folk tales like Taketori Monogatari and Urashima Taro, while the second act fast forwards to the year 2060, with Tackey playing an 80-year-old man facing the world's end. Tackey also especially wrote and composed the show's theme song Ai Kakumei, which became his debut solo single. The Shinshun Takizawa Kakumei DVD records the musical's final performance on January 27. The Show Time segment includes performances from Shonentai's Nishikiori Kazukiyo and Johnny's Jr groups A.B.C-Z and Kis-My-Ft2.

This edition includes final show documentary and interviews as special features.
