MIRROR's Anson Lo makes his film debut in Showbiz Spy! The popular idol, who got his start on ViuTV's Good Night Show – King Maker, goes undercover in another audition program – but this time it's for a girl group! Written and directed by Keian Chui, the director of the ViuTV series Who Sells Bricks in Hong Kong, Showbiz Spy winkingly sends up reality show competitions and showbiz culture. Anson Lo leads a new-generation cast that includes Chloe So (Life After Death), Summer Chan, Super Girls member Heidi Lee and King Maker III contestant Alina Lee. Veterans Patrick Tam and Andrew Lam also appear in the fresh Hong Kong comedy.

Cercis Lui (Anson Lo) is a member of an association dedicated to protecting youth. The association suspects that the boss (Andrew Lam) of the talent audition show "New Star Production" is using the competition to exploit young people who are sincerely chasing their dreams. In order to investigate the show, Cercis has to disguise as an aspiring girl group member and enter the competition!
