Wallace Huo (Our Time Will Come) and Sandra Ma (Soul Mate) star in the romance Somewhere Winter inspired by the same-titled classic ballad by Chyi Chin. The legendary singer-songwriter served as artistic director for the film which tells a love story that spans 30 years. Also co-starring Wei Daxun (The Last Wish), Austin Lin (At Café 6), Vicky Chen (The Bold, The Corrupt and the Beautiful) and Patty Hou, Somewhere Winter is directed by Wang Wei Ming (Sex Appeal) and written by best-selling YA novelist Rao Xueman, whose works include Left Ear and Secret Fruit.

In 1991, college student Xiao An (Sandra Ma) is at the venue of Chyi Chin's sold-out concert and unexpectedly receives a ticket from a stranger. Two years later, she re-encounters him – Qi Xiao (Wallace Huo).The two are drawn to each other, but Qi Xiao is torn between his lives in Beijing and Taipei. Due to his family and career, he eventually has to leave Beijing, and Xiao An is left only with a vague promise to meet again in winter.
