Mike He takes on dual roles as twin brothers in the 2013 FTV romance series Spring Love. Co-starring otaku goddess Da Yuan (Bad Girls), Nylon Chen (K.O.3an Guo) and Taiwan-based Japanese talent Sato Mai, the idol drama uses the interesting setting of Taiwan's traditional hot springs for a romance and rivalry that spans two generations and two cultures.

Twenty-six years ago, Long Shou Cheng and Michiko fell in love and had twins together. Due to their families' disapproval, however, they were forced to go their separate ways. Long Shou Cheng remained in Taiwan with older son Tian He and took over his family's Long Tang hot springs; Michiko returned to her native Japan with younger son Tai. Raised in different environments, Tian He is cold and proud, while Tai is warm and impulsive. It is only after Michiko's death that Tai learns he has family in Taiwan. Believing that his mother was abandoned, Tai heads to Taiwan to confront his father but Long Shou Cheng and Tian He have left the country for medical reasons. Tai is mistaken for Tian He and unwittingly beats rival onsen owner Zhao Ren Hu (Nylon Chen) in a competition. As punishment for losing, Zhao Ren Hu's younger sister Ren Mei (Da Yuan) must work at Long Tang for a year and Tai has no choice but to stay on as Tian He for the time being. What will happen between Ren Mei and Tai, and what happens when Tian He returns?
