Rebellious teens explore the outside world and live their own lives in Start-Up! Based on Jo Geum San's webtoon Start, the comedy-drama includes the main cast of Ma Dong Seok (Ashfall), Park Jung Min (Deliver Us From Evil), Jung Hae In (Tune in For Love), Yeom Jung Ah (Intimate Strangers) and Choi Sung Eun (Ten Months), who won Best New Actress at the 25th Chunsa Film Art Awards.

Rebellious 18-year-old kid Taek Il (Park Jung Min), who hates school, home and studying, gets punished by his mom (Yeom Jung Ah) every day. He follows his friend Sang Pil (Jung Hae In) to run away from home and earn money. Later he gets a job at a Chinese restaurant owned by Geo Seok (Ma Dong Seok), who has a mysterious past. The two experience and learn as they enter the workforce and grow from teens to adults.
