Veteran director Hiroki Ryuichi teams up with two of Japan's hottest young stars in Strobe Edge, a teenage romance based on the manga by Sakisaka Io (Blue Spring Ride). Arimura Kasumi (When Marnie was There) stars as Ninako, a high school girl caught between Ren (Fukushi Sota, As the Gods Will), a handsome young classmate who already has a girlfriend, and Ando (Yamada Yuki), the rival who is madly in love with her. Despite her love for Ren not being reciprocated, Ninako continues to hold on to her feelings for him.
