The Sumikko Gurashi friends venture out of their comfy corner to embark on a fantastic fairy tale adventure in the animated movie Sumikkogurashi: Good To Be In The Corner! On a day like any other, the Sumikko Gurashi gang are nesting up at the corner café as usual. Unexpectedly, they come upon an old picture book in the basement. While they're looking at the book, the pictures suddenly begin to move, and they get sucked into the book's fairy tale world! They become the protagonists of classic tales like Momotaro, Little Red Riding Hood and A Little Match Girl. While at a loss themselves, the friends meet a lost gray chick and decide to help their new companion find its way home.
