The Sumikko Gurashi friends are back on the silver screen with their second feature film The Little Wizard in the Blue Moonlight! Directed by Omori Takahiro (Natsume's Book of Friends) with animation by Fanwork, the film gently depicts a magical incident in the peaceful lives of the Sumikko Gurashi.

Legend has it that on the night of the blue moon that happens once every five years, wizards come to town and make dreams come true. Sure enough, five wizards appear in the town of the Sumikko Gurashi and cast magic everywhere! As the happy night draws to an end, it's time for the wizards to return to the moon. However, Five, the youngest and weakest of the wizards, gets left behind and Tapioca is mistakenly taken away!
