Known for providing illustrations to I Want to Eat Your Pancreas and I Had That Same Dream Again, up-and-coming illustrator loundraw makes his directorial debut with the short animated film Summer Ghost. There is an urban legend about the "summer ghost," a young female ghost who appears when there are fireworks. High school students Tomoya, Aoi, and Ryo, who meet through the internet, all have reasons for wanting to meet the summer ghost. Tomoya can't step into the life he wants, Aoi can't find a place where she belongs, and Ryo is suddenly closed off from his bright future. On one summer night when life and death intersect, where will their thoughts bring them?
This edition comes with an original soundtrack CD, a special booklet and bonus features.
