Ma Dong Seok (The Outlaws) and Kim Sang Joong (The Day He Arrives), who co-starred in the 2014 OCN police crime thriller Bad Guys, team up again for the series' spin-off movie The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos! Directed by Son Yong Ho (The Deal), the crime action film also has Kim Ah Joong (Steal My Heart) and rising TV actor Jang Ki Yong (Search: WWW) in his silver-screen debut. Kang Ye Won (Watching), Kim Hye Yoon (Memoir of a Murderer) and Jo Dong Hyuk (Love At The End of The World) also make special appearances in the movie.

The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos begins with a car accident involving a prisoner convoy, and dangerous criminals escape from custody. In order to hunt the fugitives down, the police again forms a top secret "special investigation team" with "mad dog" detective Oh Gu Tak (Kim Sang Joong) and gangster Park Woong Chul (Ma Dong Seok). They are joined by two new members – swindler Kwak No Soon (Kim Ah Joong) and former detective Ko Yoo Sung (Jang Ki Yong).
