Fukumoto Riko (Love Me, Love Me Not) and Matsuda Genta of Johnny's Jr. unit Travis Japan star in The Blue Skies at Your Feet, a teen romance with a time-loop twist. Based on the novel Kimi ga Otoshita Aozora by Sakura Eeyo, the film is directed by TV director Yuki Saito (Ossan's Love) and features a fresh young cast that also includes Itagaki Mizuki, Yokota Mayuu and Riko.
High school seniors Miyu (Fukumoto Riko) and Shuya (Matsuda Genta) have been dating for two years. They have a promise to always watch a movie together on the first day of each month. One day, Shuya suddenly cancels for an urgent matter. Miyu becomes worried as Shuya seems to be hiding something from her lately. Later, she goes to their meeting place and sees Shuya getting into an accident. However, when Miyu wakes up, she finds she has returned to the morning before the accident. The day continues to loop as she tries to save Shuya and uncover the truth behind everything.
