Ha Jung Woo (Ashfall) and Kim Nam Gil (The Odd Family: Zombie on Sale) unveil the secret of a mysterious closet in director Kim Kwang Bin's The Closet! Heo Yool, who starred in the TV drama Mother, makes her big screen debut in the horror film as the daughter of Ha Jung Woo's role, while Ashfall and Miss Baek's Kim Shi Ah takes the role of her friend. Shin Hyun Bin (Sunset in My Hometown), Kim Soo Jin (1987: When the Day Comes) and Park Sung Woong (The Great Battle) play the parents of the two children.

Sang Won (Ha Jung Woo) and his daughter Yi Na (Heo Yool) have grown apart ever since the death of his wife (Shin Hyun Bin). They move to a new place, hoping to get close with each other again. After befriending Myung Jin (Kim Shi Ah), Yi Na begins to smile again, but she starts to act strangely after hearing some weird noise from the closet. Not long after, Sang Won has a nightmare, and then Yi Na suddenly disappears. Exorcist Kyung Hoon (Kim Nam Gil) comes to help him sort out the secret behind the mysterious closet.

When a tragic accident leaves Sang-won (HA Jung-woo) and his daughter Ina (HEO Yeul) without their wife and mother, he moves to a new home to restore his relationship with his daughter. Despite all his efforts, nothing he does seems to work but she makes a new friend who makes her laugh. This moment of peace doesn’t last long, as strange noises trickle out of their closet and Ina begins displaying strange behaviors. A few days after Sang-won starts having eerie nightmares, Ina disappears without a trace. While searching for her, Sang-won comes across enigmatic Kyung-hoon (KIM Nam-gil), who seems to know where Ina has disappeared to: the closet. Kyung-hoon tells Sang-won that he’s been looking for whereabouts of missing children for the past 10 years and believes that the key to finding Sang-won’s daughter is inside the closet. Desperate to find his daughter, Sang-won reaches out to open the forbidden closet…
