Narita Ryo and Kanjani8's Okura Tadayoshi star in the gay romance The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese based on Mizushiro Setona's same-titled manga. Blockbuster filmmaker Yukisada Isao (Narratage) adapts the BL manga into a steamy love story that explores the impassioned yet ambiguous relationship between the protagonists.

Since his school days, the indecisive Otomo Kyoichi (Okura Tadayoshi) has repeatedly fallen into passive romances with women who love him, a cycle that continues even after marriage. One day, he encounters university friend Imagase Wataru (Narita Ryo) for the first time in seven years. However, it turns out Wataru is a private investigator hired by Kyoichi's wife to dig up evidence of his infidelity. Wataru, who has always liked Kyoichi, uses the opportunity to cajole Kyoichi into a physical relationship with him in exchange for keeping his affairs a secret.
