Four years after the events of the series, An Zhen (Sonia Sui) has settled into her life as a single mother and career woman. After all that she went through with her failed marriage, she is still hesitant to take the next step with Tian Wei (Chris Wang), who has been waiting for her to move on. Tian Wei's patience is starting to run out, however, and he wants An Zhen to commit to a new life with him. Meanwhile, reformed ex-husband Rui Fan (James Wen) is returning to Taipei, and he too wants to start over again with An Zhen.
