The Inspired Island series of documentaries about eminent Taiwan literary figures continues with its third installment. The documentary He's Still Young focuses on writer Wu Sheng, who is known for modern poetry in the Taiwan nativist literature genre. The film is directed by Lin Jing Jie, who also directed The Man Behind The Book from the first Inspired Island series.

Wu Sheng grew up in a rural family in Changhua. Both his poems and his life are rooted in the countryside. Filming for He's Still Young began in 2017, following Wu Sheng's footsteps from rural Changhua and Zhuoshui River to Iowa, U.S., where the poet recalled participating in a writing class, and Vancouver, Canada, where he visited friend and writer Yan Xian.

This edition comes with a bonus DVD of behind-the-scenes extras and a biography booklet.

吳晟成長於彰化農村家庭，他的詩扎根鄉土，同時錘鍊詩句與耕耘土地，數十年從未間斷。紀錄片《他還年輕》自2017年起，以長期駐點的拍攝策略，跟著吳晟穿梭彰化鄉間、踏查濁水溪生態，亦飛往美國愛荷華回憶參加寫作班心情，至溫哥華拜訪亦師亦友的作家瘂弦。拍攝期間恰逢吳晟女兒吳音寧因北農事件遭受攻擊，本片紀錄了詩人這兩年多的心情轉折，從憤怒、挫敗、到重生與昇華，遂見證了詩是濁世最終的救贖。
