The Inspired Island series of documentaries about eminent Taiwan literary figures continues with its third installment. The documentary I Remember is about sisters and writers Chu Tien Wen and Chu Tien Hsin. Chu Tien Wen is known as the screenwriter of many Hou Hsiao Hsien films, while Chu Tien Hsin's writing observes life in the city. Novelist Lin Jun Ying directs I Remember from the perspective of a longtime friend, revealing the Chu sisters' personal stories and growth behind their literary achievements.
This edition comes with deleted footage, behind-the-scenes and narration footage.
