花千骨，出生時命格詭異、堅強善良的孤女，被長留上仙白子畫下凡化身墨冰仙所救，對他暗生情愫；白子畫，身負重任一心想保護天下蒼生的長留掌門，明知花千骨是自己生死劫，非但不忍殺生反救花千骨一命。

為尋恩人，花千骨前往長留仙山。在白子畫暗暗幫助下，花千骨幾經波折經過重重考驗拜為其座下唯一的弟子。師徒二人亦師亦友，皆以匡扶正義保護上古十大神器為己任。二人遊歷人間，救助孤寡，鋤強扶弱。朝夕相對，讓花千骨對白子畫產生了深深的愛慕執念。而深愛白子畫的墮仙夏紫薰為異朽閣主設計，為破白子畫的劫數，投毒加害花千骨，白子畫為救花千骨身中劇毒。花千骨不惜偷盜神器為師父解毒，不料陰差陽錯之下放出妖神，並於無意中得到洪荒之力。自此，六界動亂不堪，百姓民不聊生。白子畫既要匡顧天下，又要保護花千骨，費盡心力，身受重傷。

糖寶等人意外之死讓花千骨幾近崩潰、徹底絕望，突破白子畫的封印，成為妖神。白子畫為引導花千骨回歸正道，孤身來到妖神殿陪在她身邊。最後得知白子畫為她付出的真相和情意的花千骨，決定以死讓天下恢復安寧…。

Question about the DVD vs TV version Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Would really like to know if the Taiwanese DVD version contains uncut footage not shown on TV/Online... 很想知道台湾版DVD是跟电视版网络版一样吗？有没有剪掉师傅吸小骨血，师傅被吸血，春药发作，醋吻，黑子画，师傅发疯等等情节？

***Update of previous review: Am so glad I chose to purchase the Taiwan version, the packaging is gorgeous! I highly recommend the Taiwan version to those looking to purchase the boxset as a keepsake. Points to note: the subtitles are in Traditional Chinese of course and the opening theme song used in this version is songwriter Xu Song's version of the song instead of A*Lan's. End theme is still Wallace Huo and Zhao Liying's "不可说."

Great series. Both Wallace Huo and Zhao Liying's naturalistic performance is moving and full of rapport. Wallace Huo's acting has been tested and further polished by his roles in "The Battle of Changsha" and "The Great Protector," and this is one of his finest performances yet. Easily one of the best television serials of 2015.
