Andy Lau stars as Hong Kong superstar Dany Lau who has missed out on an award yet again. He decides to appear in an award-baiting rural-themed film directed by Mainland filmmaker Ling Hao in hopes of getting international accolades. To play this role well, Dany Lau goes to the countryside to experience life but all kinds of farcical situations arise!
