Ma Dong Seok goes head to head with Son Seok Goo (Hit-and-Run Squad) in The Outlaws' sequel, The Roundup! Winning the Audience Choice Award for Most Popular Film and Technical Award at the 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards, the top-grossing crime actioner is inspired by a real-life serial murder and kidnapping case that happened from 2008 to 2012. Choi Gwi Hwa, Park Ji Hwan, Heo Dong Won and Ha Jun reprise their roles in The Roundup helmed by Lee Sang Yong, the assistant director of The Outlaws.
Four years after the Garibong-dong operation, Ma Seok Do (Ma Dong Seok) and his team are sent on a mission to extradite a suspect in Vietnam. Detective Ma and captain Jeon Il Man (Choi Gwi Hwa) find things suspicious there, and soon discover the ruthless acts committed by Kang Hye Sang (Son Seok Goo). The Geumcheon Crime Unit travels back and forth from Korea to Vietnam to chase after the nefarious gangster.
