From February 12 to 14, 2008, Chet Lam presented three nights of acoustic folk and gentle memoirs for his The Storyteller Concert at Hong Kong's Star Hall. This DVD release captures the wonderful sights and sounds of the concert, with the popular singer-songwriter offering new songs off his latest album Travelogue, three as well as familiar favorites like "Suddenly Single", "Return to Prague", 19, and The Best is Yet To Come and covers of songs he wrote for other singers like "Girl Posing as Boy" and "Encounter".
Chet Lam shares the stage for two songs with folk legend Jonathan Lee in a special collaboration, and duets with longtime friend and theater actor/director Joey Leung, revisiting some of his musical numbers. Want to know about the legend of the "Elephant Trunk-Tailed Cat"? Taking his storyteller role to heart, Chet also spends time to share anecdotes and tell the story behind the songs, making the concert especially cozy and music especially meaningful.
