Alexandre Dumas's classic novel The Three Musketeers is reimagined in 17th century Korea in tvN's rollicking 2014 fusion period action series. CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa plays the D'Artagnan of this story, while Lee Jin Wook (Nine: Time Travel Nine Times), Yang Dong Geun (Hero) and newcomer Jung Hae In (Blood) form The Three Musketeers. Also co-starring actresses Seo Hyun Jin (Let's Eat 2) and Yoo In Young (Empress Ki), The Three Musketeers unfurls a swashbuckling action-adventure filled with intrigue, romance and brotherhood.

After years of diligent training, innocent country boy Park Dal Hyang (Jung Yong Hwa) leaves his rural hometown for the first time to go take the military service examination in the capital. On his first night in the big city, he gets involved in a fight and encounters three mysterious swordsmen who refer to themselves as The Three Musketeers. During his military exam, he learns that the Musketeers are none other than Crown Prince So Hyun (Lee Jin Wook) and his two trusty sidekicks, Heo Seung Po (Yang Dong Geun) and Ahn Min Seo (Jung Hae In). Dal Hyang soon finds himself pulled into the burgeoning power struggle and conspiracy threatening So Hyun's life.

"The Three Musketeers" is a television adaptation of Alexandre Damas’ novel of the same name but with a Korean twist. Set in 17th century Chosun Dynasty, the story will follow the Crown Prince and his three guards in an unforgettable journey.

Based on the renowned French novel with the same title. "The Three Musketeers" is a three-arc historical drama about Prince So-Hyun (by Lee Jin-Wook) and his three guards in the Chosun Dynasty. This Korean twist on the classic tale will follow a poverty-sticken young man of noble birth determined to join the royal military forces. This man, named Park Dal-Hyang (by Jung Yong-Hwa) will cross paths with the prince and eventually become the third member of his guard party.
