Francis Ng and Joseph Chang turn into the wolves of Wall Street in the 2018 Hong Kong financial thriller mini-series The Trading Floor. Set in a fictional Asian city mirrored on Hong Kong, the five-episode series revolves around the complicated wheeling and dealing of the financial world and the battle of wits between a teacher and student who turn against each other. Produced by Andy Lau with Fox Networks, Tencent Penguin Pictures and Focus Television Production, The Trading Floor garnered rave reviews for its strong performances and production values. Besides Francis Ng and Joseph Chang, the series co-stars Yu Nan and features appearances by Hong Kong actors like Patrick Tam, Maggie Cheung Ho Yi, Liu Kai Chi, Carlos Chan and Law Kar Ying.

Following the 1998 financial crisis, economics professor Anthony Yip (Francis Ng) and his protege Wai Hong (Joseph Chang) form the underground group CASH to fight against predators and power players in the financial market. However, an incident causes CASH to fall apart. Members Nick (Patrick Tam) and Pamela (Maggie Cheung) get shot, Wai Hong is forced to flee to Myanmar, and Anthony alone climbs the ladder of wealth and power. Two decades later, Anthony, now the Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development, colludes with three financial giants to manipulate the markets for personal gain. To create an even bigger crisis and windfall, he recruits Wai Hong into the conspiracy. Wai Hong's deft maneuvers in the stock market attract the notice of investigator Claudia Fong (Yu Nan) as everyone steps into a trap laid by Anthony.

The world of finance is ever-changing. In this grand era where morals are sold completely short and greed is the market leader, everyone craves control of the rules of the game.

Under Secretary of the Minister of Economic Development Anthony Yip (Play by Francis Chun-yu NG) works with the “Three Financial Giants”: Eastman Properties Ronald Man (played by Albert Mo-hao CHEUNG), Evergate Construction Material K Fok (played by Mark Lui CHEUNG) and Marco Media Y Cheung (played by Kar-ying LAW) to manipulate the financial market for profit.
