The White Storm (2013)
Director Benny Chan's The White Storm celebrates the brotherhood and camaraderie of three police played by three of Hong Kong's most sought-after actors Sean Lau, Louis Koo and Nick Cheung. Deploying ferries and helicopters for its magnificent action scenes, the big-budget crime blockbuster is jam-packed with cinematically appealing and perfectly designed gunfire exchanges, car crashes and explosions.

Ma Ngan Tin (Lau Ching Wan), So Kin Chau (Louis Koo) and Cheung Tze Wai (Nick Cheung) met and bonded as kids and their friendship continued in police academy with their shared passion for law and justice. While Ngan Tin and Tze Wai get into the Narcotics Bureau upon graduation, Kin Chau is pre-selected to go undercover in one of Hong Kong's biggest drug trafficking triads. Going deeper into the flourishing drug business, they track down drug lord Eight-Faced Buddha (Lo Hoi Pang) in Thailand and are forced to face a painful confrontation which only allows two of them to walk back out alive.

The White Storm 2 - Drug Lords (2019)
The White Storm returns in 2019 with a thematic sequel, this time with Andy Lau and Louis Koo in the leading roles! Directed by Herman Yau, The White Storm 2: Drug Lords presents a new storyline about the fierce face-off between an unrepentant drug dealer and a triad-turned-tycoon. Besides reuniting Andy Lau and Louis Koo for a drug-themed thriller after 2007's Protégé, the unpredictable action-packed thriller lines up a stacked supporting cast that includes Karena Lam, Michael Miu, Kent Cheng, Gordon Lam, Chrissie Chau, Cherrie Ying, Cheung Kwok Keung, Carlos Chan, MC Jin, Jun Kung and Sam Lee.

In 2004, Yu (Andy Lau) and Fung (Louis Koo) were both gangsters under the same triad boss (Kent Cheng), who does not allow drugs in his business. When drugs are found in Fung's turf, he gets his finger cut off as punishment and expelled from the organization. Feeling angry and betrayed, Fung goes full force into the drug trade. Meanwhile, Yu leaves the triad life behind.

Fifteen years later, Yu has reinvented himself as a prominent financial tycoon and philanthropist with the help of his wife (Karena Lam). Fung has become one of the four big drug lords of Hong Kong, and he's looking to expand his power. Yu, who lost both his father and his son to drugs, vows to wipe out the drug cartels at all costs. He offers a bounty of $100 million for the head of Hong Kong's #1 drug dealer, which upturns the underworld and sets him on a collision course with his former triad brother.

When Suchat's drug trafficking business in Hong Kong gets busted by the police, he escapes with his gang to the Golden Triangle. However, Suchat discovers that there is an undercover agent amongst them.
