props to the art team
If you open the booklet, you might notice that there is one "concept", not the usual three to five, and the clothing choice is pretty Oppa Next Doorsy. It suits him (although the pants look uncomfortable when he's sitting, so I think they could've used better pants).
Anyway. The actual CD is kind of a mediocre mess, and I say this as someone who thinks he's the prettiest thing. I feel like after he was split from FTI, FNC had no idea what to do with him. Some of the songs are OK but most of them don't have a real sense of identity, and they don't grab your attention. FNC should have sold his contract to a company like Loen, for example, someone who could have made a real hit out of him. So while I really wanted him to be as popular as, say, J Rabbit, I understand why he's a nugu. |
