The world of Touken Ranbu leaps to the silver screen in the popular franchise's first live-action movie! Launched in 2015, Touken Ranbu is a game in which legendary swords are anthropomorphized as young men and used by the player to battle evil forces in the past. Quickly amassing great popularity, the game has inspired several anime adaptations and a very successful series of stage plays and musicals. The Touken Danshi now take on one of their greatest battles in Touken Ranbu The Movie!

Directed by Yakumo Saiji (The Dark Maidens), the film reimagines the great mystery of the Honno-ji Incident. When Oda Nobunaga doesn't die at Honno-ji in 1582 like he's supposed to according to known history, the Touken Danshi must go back in time and assassinate him. Known for their appearances in Touken Ranbu and other 2.5 dimensional productions, young stage actors Suzuki Hiroki, Aramaki Yoshihiko, Wada Masanari, Kitamura Ryo, Shiina Taizo, Iwanaga Hiroaki, Sadamoto Fuma and Hirose Tomoki play the swordsmen tasked to protect history.

This edition comes with a 28-page booklet, a character card sticker set and two bonus discs of special features.
