YesAsia Editorial Description

Trees in Heaven follows in the footsteps of Stairway to Heaven. Coming from the celebrated SBS TV studios, this touching new drama stars Lee Wan and Park Shin Hye in the leads and was shot with Japan's beautiful scenery as background. The music score of Trees in Heaven features the principal song "How Can It Be Handled?" (Track 11) by Shin Seung Hun. It beautifully teams up the adept vocalist with top producer Hyun Il Sang who gave this song the final touch by arranging a harmonic piano and classic orchestral sounds to achieve the final unique melody. What's more, leading actor Lee Wan also performs one of the songs, "Leaving Nowhere" (Track 15). Featuring overall 20 songs including four bonus tracks, the soundtrack of Trees in Heaven presents the ideal companion to the drama.

Replay to reviewer S Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Thank you reviewer S for pointing out the singer of track 14, I have been browsing but no name yet.Yes, track 11 and 14 captured the love, pain and lost of Hana and Yusof with such intensity, coupled with the excellent performance from Lee Wan and Park Shin Hye. This is one enduring love drama I shall enjoyed watching over again and again. I must admit the script in the last episode does leave me feeling somewhat dissatisfied, the ending could not be more cruel or other might say, poetic.

Nice OST!..................... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
To lvd: FYI: If I'm not mistaken, the singer of Track 14 is the same singer on Track 2 of The Stairway to Heaven OST, one of the title tracks in the drama series. (Please correct me if I'm wrong!) I like this singer a lot and was having a hard time looking for his other CD or songs because his last name was missing from my iTunes list. He has a wonderful voice and sings with such emotions that leaves me a deep impression. In my opinion, he is already much better than a lot of other more well know singers. He holds a lot of promise and I wish to hear more from him in the future. I only gave 4 stars rating on Track 13, the other track that he sings in this OST. I think that he can still improve his singing in this track. Perhaps I'm not being reasonable by demanding perfection. Lee Wan is an excellent singer with attractive voice. He is also an excellent actor. It's too bad that the drama series is a knock off from Stairway to Heaven and the script is not very well written. The OST is better than the drama series. My other favorite track includes #11 by Shin Seung Hun.

Beautiful sound tracks, the music and the songs were perfect for this fantastic drama. I loved the dialogues added in the sound tracks , the songs were so heart breaking that track no.14 made my heart ache as it took me back to the scene of the drama. This was the best drama I had watched, well made, good casts, I just loved watching Park Shin Hye and Lee Wan, they were fantastic. Please give us more of these two!

One of my favourite dramas! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I love this OST... it's really beautiful.

Track 3 is one of my favourite tracks. The beginning starts off like a music box so I ripped my CD and just cut that part out and used it as my ringtone. A friend I was with commented that it really matched the weather outside as it was snowing at the time and I said to him: "wow, the name of the track is 'snow in japan'!" The OST really conveys itself well. It has a lot of feeling and emotions in it.

If you are a fan of Lee Wan, he sings track 15. Any fan of the drama especially should get this. You'll feel so nostalgic listening to it.
