Welcome back to Skylette Airlines! Triumph in the Skies, the exceedingly popular TVB drama series, makes its big-screen debut with an all-star cast that sees series vets Francis Ng and Julian Cheung joined by Sammi Cheng, Louis Koo, Charmaine Sheh and Amber Kuo. Directed by Wilson Yip (Ip Man) and Matt Chow, the movie features three beautifully filmed, intersecting stories of romance.

After aviation empire heir and pilot Branson takes over Skylette, he discovers that his ex-girlfriend Cassie (Charmaine Sheh) has become a flight attendant at the airline. Years ago, their romance was interrupted when Branson had to leave to take care of the family business. The erstwhile lovers have never stopped thinking about each other, though, and this may be a chance to rekindle the flame.

At the same time, Branson asks his friend Sam (Francis Ng) to act as a consultant to a commercial starring rock star TM (Sammi Cheng). Having had a misunderstanding during an earlier meeting, the two are initially gruff towards one another, but this changes after they spend more time together.

Ladies' man Jayden (Julian Cheung) leaves Skylette to take a job as a private jet pilot. During a flight, he meets Kika (Amber Kuo), who he dismisses as a wild party girl. The two soon discover how much they have in common and fall madly in love, but Kika has a secret that can jeopardize their relationship.
