Though Lam releases his new album after years. I am abit disappointed because only 4 new songs available from him. I prefer "Until We Meet Again" and "Joking" (theme song from the movie SIX STRONG GUYS).

Old classics receive new interpretations on this excellent CD, which also includes fresh new tracks from the incomparable Ah Lam himself (of which #1. 'Until We Meet Again' is definitely the most stunning new song from George - music, lyrics, and performance on this track are all top-notch!). While a few of the reinterpretations are rather dubious, especially when compared with the stellar originals by Ah Lam, most of the tracks on this CD breathe new life into the great songs of George Lam. Especially outstanding covers include: #5 - Jacky's signature singing style makes an indelible impression on this fantastic song, #7 - Chet Lam's vibrant new arrangement is a delight, #8 - Joey's wonderfully sultry and soulful singing combined with the gorgeous new jazz arrangement make this track a real stand-out, #9 Anthony's covers are always wildly inventive and suffused with his own unique style, often rivaling or even surpassing the flavour of the original; here, he again shows his distinctive musical prowess and smooth vocals, and finally my personal favourite on the whole album, which came as a bit of surprise to even me (as I was not too familiar with either artists prior to hearing this one) #11 - this amazing song has been beautifully refashioned into a powerful duet, and Yu & Don both give outstanding performances!!! Overall, a solid album with several stand-out tracks: #5,7,8,9,&11. Also recommended are tracks #3,6,10,&13. On a side note, the CD booklet contains reflections by each of the artists on their contribution to the CD and includes not only pictures of Ah Lam from his childhood but also baby pictures (or childhood photos) of all of the artists that contributed to this album!!!^^ Check out this album for its creative revision of Ah Lam's classics and be treated to cute baby pics of the singers as an added bonus! Happy listening & Enjoy.

I LOVE the new songs here. They're very "Ah-Lam" style. The songs by other singers are also quite interesting to listen to, although I still prefer the original Ah Lam versions. Overall, I can see the sincerity of those singers from this album. It's a high quality production, and I recommand this CD to everyone.

The cute photo in the CD cover lured me into browsing this CD. The tracklist is even more attractive, as many stars of the Chinese music scene sing the best-known tunes of George Lam. I think this CD should appeal to everyone, and it's time to revisit Ah Lam's classic songs. Highly recommended!
